The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is the world’s leading professional body for insurance brokers and financial services professionals. Granted by the Privy Council – it is the industry’s gold standard for insurance brokers and is currently met by fewer than 100 firms across the country. Its aim being to promote the highest standards of ethics and technical competency throughout the UK and the rest of the world. In addition, it augments the financial advice sector’s professional standing – putting firms like ours at the same level as other complex professions such as solicitors and accountants.
Not all insurance firms carry these qualifications; in fact very few are qualified to hold this highly acclaimed designation. With this in mind PK Partnership are extremely proud to be awarded the prestigious title of Chartered Insurance Brokers.
What does this mean for our clients?
Firstly, it means we are committed to developing our staff to the highest standard of both knowledge and ethics. You could say it’s a lifelong obligation in terms of ensuring that we continue to meet the following criteria:
> The advice and ongoing support we provide to you must be of the highest quality;
> Our advice must be tailored on your researched needs; and
> All of the above must be provided by an adviser working within the CII’s level of technical competency.
In the words of the CII themselves “The Chartered title is a commitment to an overall standard of customer excellence and professionalism”.
We encourage all of our staff and insurance consultants to continue their professional development by gaining qualifications, attending professional development workshops and events, while also ensuring they strictly adhere to the CII’s Code of Ethics.
